Previous research
I began my undergraduate and graduate career at Ludong University, where I focused on the genomics studies of oysters. Meanwhile, I started taking computer science courses and achieved commendable results in exams. I have completed fundamental computer science courses during my undergraduate studies, including a course in Computer Fundamentals and VB programming language. Additionally, through self-study, I acquired proficiency in programming languages such as Perl.
I studied under Wang Xiaotong during the master and bachelor stage, and my main research contents are: The developmental genetics of oysters and the melanin mechanism of oysters. In my undergraduate studies, I developed a tool which is accomplished with Perl language for predicting the cis-acting element of oysters. In my master stage, I analyzed the effect of differential methylation analysis on oyster shell color. I find great satisfaction in employing computer languages to tackle biological problems, deepening my affection for the fusion of computer science and biology.
After graduation from undergraduate studies, I chose to work as a Bioinformatics Engineer to expand my coding skills and cope with practical projects. The main programming language used for work is Python, and some analysis will use Perl and R. My main roles included NGS data analysis including genomic, transcriptome, methylation data, inheritable disease and Pan-Cancer report web system, and data warehouse maintenance
